If I Could Dream Up Heaven . . .

If I Could Dream Up Heaven
…. Love would be all around. The beasts could talk, the birds would sing. There would be a library for all to share. There would be light everywhere. There would be nymphs and dryads and dwarfs, and unicorns of course. There would be pixies and fairies and naiads. (The opposite of dryads.) The sun would be bright, opposing the night. The horses would whinny to the air, the loudest, of course, would be the mare. We would worship God 24\7. Our praises would echo through heaven. Time would have no meaning, and a tree would never be leaning. War would be a myth and a shovel one would never lift. Laughter would be a constant sound. Weeping would quite drown. Anger would never cross one’s mind, because everyone would be kind. The orchards would overflow with fruit; people would treat it like loot. Water would be sweet as honey; there would be no such thing as money. We would all dress white as snow, not a person would be low. You could play any sport you wish and you could choose any dish. The clouds would drift as silver bundles. No one would sleep in trundles. We would have a bed of our choice and all day we would rejoice. Our presents to each other would bring us together.
So this is how heaven would be if I could dream it in my mind. But Jesus has something better aren’t you glad?
