More Poetry

Africa
Sun rises like magic across majestic plains
Watching the fading stars one can forget his pains
Natives greet you with the greatest care
Happiness, yet pain fills the humid air
Women carry loads upon their strong heads
Some loads like they're filled with lead
Baboons scold as you pass through their land
They point at you with their furry hands
Giraffes turn their towering necks
While ox peckers clean their backs with determined little pecks
The sun shows its color once more that day
Simple is the famous African way
